RED BANK—Calling all patriots! Are you a real, live niece or nephew of Uncle Sam? Does your heart beat red, white and blue when you hear a brass band?
The 26th annual “Liberty Extravaganza,” including a concert of all-American music and an audience sing-along of patriotic songs, is planned for July 6 at the First Presbyterian Church at Red Bank (Tower Hill), 255 Harding Road. The 7:30 p.m. concert is preceded by a strawberry festival on the church patio beginning at 5 p.m. and featuring music by the Hot Taters band.

“Two Towns-One Voice-One Mission”
Colts Neck, NJ - Colts Neck native and The Voice finalist Jacquie Lee will star in “Two Towns-One Voice-One Mission,”a concert hosted by Operation Provide Comfort (www.opcunionbeach.org) to benefit the residents of Union Beach on August 23, 2014 at the Robert J. Collins Arena, Brookdale Community College, Lincroft, New Jersey.
Ticket prices are; $100, $75 and $50 and are available beginning July 1st by calling 800-514-3849or visiting www.opcunionbeach.org/tickets. A Special Back Stage VIP package ticket is only $250.00 per person (includes a meet & greet with Jacquie) and is limited. All proceeds will directly benefit the residents of Union Beach who are still struggling to recover from the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy.
First Narcan Save by Middletown Police

MIDDLETOWN, NJ - The Middletown Police Department performed its first save with Narcan yesterday, June 19, 2014. Police report that a subject who had been arrested and was being processed passed out and became unconscious from an apparent drug overdose. Patrolman Charles Higgins and Patrolman Adam Colfer recognized the symptoms and administered the Narcan. The drug immediately counteracted the effects of the other narcotics and the prisoner jolted awake. He was then transported to Riverview Medical Center for further treatment.
Middletown Issues Rabies Alert #8

MIDDLETOWN, NJ - The Middletown Township Health Department has received laboratory confirmation of an eighth animal testing positive for rabies. The Animal Control Division responded after a resident noticed a raccoon was acting sickly in the backyard.
The incident happened in the area of Walnut Ave between Pine Street and Chestnut Street.
Over the past few months, the township Health Department has found and reported 6 raccoons and one fox that have tested positive for Rabies. The previous locations of the animals were:
• 900 Leonardville Road, Croydon Hall Complex
• Route 35 between Kanes Lane and Kings Highway East
• Red Hill Road between Dwight Road and Deepdale Drive
• Michael Drive off of Nutswamp Rd
• Ueland Road off of Nutswamp Road
• Essex Street off of Bray Ave
• Clay Court off of Hartshorne Road
Keyport Yacht Club "Sailing for the Bayshore" June 21st and 22nd in Keyport, NJ

KEYPORT, NJ - The Keyport Yacht Club (KYC) will be hosting the 14th Annual Bill Volk Regatta & Charity Cup on Saturday, June 21st and Sunday, June 22nd’ in Keyport, NJ. We would love for you to be there!
For the second year, the charity campaign will be “Sailing for the Bayshore” to benefit the RAINE (Reaching All In Need Everyday) Foundation of Hazlet, NJ. Sailors will race to help raise funds for those in the Bayshore who are still trying to put their homes and lives back together after Superstorm Sandy.
“It has been over a year and a half since Superstorm Sandy devastated our community, but there are so many people in our area still struggling to recover,” said Keyport Yacht Club Commodore Ann Quinn. “We are very proud that we were able to raise over $13,000 last year for Sandy relief in our area and we look forward to another successful event this year.”
