RED BANK, NJ - The United Methodist Church of Red Bank welcomes the Reverend Jessica Brendler-Naulty, our new pastor, who will give her first sermon at RBUMC on Sunday, October 5, 2014. A reception will follow the 10:30AM service. All are invited to join in this service as we welcome Jessica and family to our church.
Jessica comes to us as a fourth generation United Methodist pastor, and Red Bank UMC is her fourth appointment since she began her ministry; previously she served the Haddonfield UMC, the Trinity UMC, and the Monroe Community Church. With a BS in Biology from Rutgers University, Cook College, and a Masters in Secondary Science Education from Rutgers, Jessica went on to Drew Theological School where she received a Masters of Divinity.
Middletown Receives Additional SHRAP Funds

MIDDLETOWN, NJ – Middletown Township has received an additional $400,000 in state funding to help township residents whose homes were damaged by Superstorm Sandy. Funding comes from the Superstorm Sandy Homeowner/Renter Assistance Program (SHRAP).
The township is the only municipality in New Jersey that applied and had been approved to administer the SHRAP directly to its residents. In total, the township has received more than $1.9 million in state funds to assist homeowners struggling to recover from the historic storm, said Township Administrator Anthony P. Mercantante, noting more than 1.5 million has already been distributed.
Atlantic Highlands Hosts Medicine Drop-Off on Saturday

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ - Atlantic Highlands Police Chief Jerry Vasto activated the Swift 911 Emergency Alert System to announce Operation Medicine Cabinet, a program to provide residents an opportunity to rid their cabinets of expired and unused medicine.
In conjunction with the US Drug Enforcement Agency, the borough police department will collect unwanted medicine at headquarters, 100 First Avenue, Atlantic Highlands from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday, September 27, 2014. The program aims to keep drugs out of the hands of children and drug abusers.

NENAproductions presents NJ Premiere of SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM.
OCEAN GROVE, NJ - NENAproductions Theater Project proudly opens their 2014-2015 theater season at the Jersey Shore Arts Center with the New Jersey premier of SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM, an intimate look at the Father of the Modern Musical, featuring new arrangements of his most beloved work. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays, October 3 to 11 at 8:00 PM with a matinee on Sunday, October 12 at 3:00 PM.
NENAproductions has secured the rights to this newly released musical that was developed and presented on Broadway at Studio 54 by the Roundabout Theater in the spring of 2010. The Broadway cast included Barbara Cook, Vanessa Williams, Tom Wopat, and others.

The magnificent portrait paintings feature their subjects engaging with or ensnared by their own electronic entertainments.
After you’ve gazed a while, step inside the gallery. October’s show at the Art Alliance features the work of its members, selected by Ficarelli-Halpern from submissions in two categories, “All Seasons,” and “3D.”
